Slayer Magic is a type of Caster Magic. Crash Magic is a very advanced type of Caster Magic which gives the user the ability to smash everything they come into contact with.
If the user is unfocused, they may destroy objects such as houses unintentionally. Gildars Clive uses Crash Magic.
Some users of this Magic are Lucy, Angel and Yukino. Requip Magic is a type of Caster Magic that allows the users to store items in a pocket dimension so they can easily summon it at any time, even during battle, which gives them a high level of flexibility in combat.
However, there is a limit to how much the pocket dimension can store. Requip can be used for simple or for combat-related purposes.
Some users may just choose to use it to change their clothing. More skilled users are able to Requip different weapons in battle, and it is even possible to Requip armors in the midst of battle, although the only Mages to ever do this are Erza Scarlet and Coordinator.
Molding Magic is a type of Caster Magic that allows the user to mold or create something by concentrating their Magic Power into their hands, like an element, into different shapes or forms.
Molding Magic has been described as an "unrestrained" type of Magic, with the shapes created reflecting the personality of the user. The Black Arts are forms of Forbidden Magic that have the capacity to manipulate life. Not much is known about them, but it is said that a wizard using the Black Arts can bring forth calamity. Zeref has been said to have used the Black Arts in order to make the world a dark place for years.
Letter Magic utilizes the words written by the user, with the effect varying depending on whats written, or how it's manipulated. In addition to their hand, users can utilize other objects to write the letters.
The letters can be written on different surfaces or in the air. Transformation Magic is a type of Caster Magic that allows its Caster to change his or her appearance.
While this Magic is a deep and complex art, basic Transformation Magic is relatively easy for Mages to learn. High-level Mages, such as Mirajane, are capable of performing this Magic easily in all of its levels. There are three levels of Transformation Magic: Basic Level: This level allows a Caster to change his or her outward appearance into that of another person.
However, it doesn't allow the Caster to change clothes. The more a Mage knows about this level, the easier it is to perform.
Intermediate Level: Aside from its similarities to the basic level, this level of transformation is used by Mages to change their clothes and voice. The changing of clothes is different when compared to Requip. Advanced Level: Apart from changing appearance and voice, the Caster can acquire all additional physical features such as wings or gills, and can even change size.
According to Mirajane, this level is very useful in combat. This bears a resemblance to Lisanna's Take Over, but is different. Created by Agent Green Bean. Which option describes you the best? I care a lot for my friends. Loves me some action! I like to break stuff :D. Artsy :P.Hocus Pocus is one of my very favorite films, and it made me fall in love with the idea of a grimoire. So, what is a grimoire? They can be full of spells, information on the various branches of witchcraft tarot, crystals, astrology, palmistry, spellwork, etc.
I simply use witchcraft as self-care. The information and tools that I accept into my practices get put down in ink for future reference in my grimoire. Whenever I forget the meaning of a tarot card What does the Page of Pentacles represent again?! When making a grimoire, the first thing to do is decide what sort of format you want to go with, as they can be kept in so many different ways.
Some people buy special journals to keep as grimoires, and others use binders with scrapbook formats. Does anyone else absolutely love writing with really smooth ink on thick, fluffy pages, or is it just me?
When I have it filled with information, I intend to transfer it all into the grand tome of my dreams. Keeping a scrapbook-style binder grimoire would probably be a great option for you, so you can rearrange and add pages as you need to.
I keep information grouped by categories in my sketchbook grimoire. My first category is on tarot, where I outline the breakdown of a standard tarot deck and keep track of my favorite tarot spreads. I also list the meanings of some of the cards, and I keep a little page on tarot numerology. I reference this section pretty often, because each of the cards can have several meanings that change depending on their orientation, so it's a lot to memorize.
Next, my grimoire features an astrology section, where I list details and dates of the zodiac signs, and information on the 12 astrological houses which I can never keep straight on my own. I keep a copy of my natal chart there, too. Palmistry is the next section, where I have information on the two branches of palmistry chiromancy, which is the study of the lines of the palm, and chirognomy, which studies the size, shape, color, and other aspects of the hand.
There, I keep details about what different markings, lines, and hand shapes mean in palmistry.
I also made detailed maps of my own palms in that section. Information on elemental magic follows next, where I list the elements I recognize in my witchcraft earth, wind, water, fire, and spirit. Here, I've also written my own incantations to invoke and release the spirits associated with each element. I'm just starting to delve into elemental magic, so I reference this section often. Next, there are a few pages on the divinitive art of reading tea leaves.
In it, I outline the process I use to read them and list many common symbols found in the tea leaves, and what they represent. I totally don't have all the main symbols and their meanings memorized, so I have to flip over to this section whenever I do tea readings. Finally, I have my list of spells.
This is my largest section. I have spells for manifesting motivation, spells to help me focus, and spells to banish bad vibes. There are spells to get rid of nightmares, spells to ward off negative energy, and spells to purify and spiritually charge my home with positive vibes. Again, I don't use hexes or love potions in my witchcraft.
Rather, I stick to light magic that's focused on helping me manifest the energies I need to thrive. I'm going to add a section on different herbs and roots next, detailing their different applications in witchcraft. There are so many ways to decorate a grimoire. You are a Vampire, by choice or not you are an undead roamer of the night bound by blood. I personally find it to be like a view into my inner soul workings. The book of shadows is sort of a private Wiccan journal that one uses to document all the work and all your learnings throughout your Wiccan journey unlike a Grimoire.
This includes things like ritual work, spell workingsdifferent types of magic chants, divination, about the holidays, the deities your path etc. You may well often find a grimoire in a coven situation for instance for the use of its members.
The coven grimoire is usually in the safe keeping of the High Priest or Priestess when not in use filed away in a safe place. Grimoire s can be used more frequently with witches because their journey is a lot more practical.
I always think there is something new to learn about Wicca and some practitioners may have different book of shadows. Some people can have a book of shadows just for spells and then another book that could be more for the actual learning about the actual faith. Then another book could be more practical witchcraft side of things, some may even have more than that because they like to have different ones to kind of keep things separate for different subjects.
Keeping separate books is a completely personal choice. A book of shadows is like any other tool of ours it is a magical tool that we work with and we must take care of it and keep it safe. It is such a personal thing to them, being that said some people are willing to show it to other people that may follow the same practice as they do and believe that they have the right to see it.
Just to clarify the difference here since a lot of people seem to ask the difference between a grimoire and a book of shadows?
Quiz: What Kind of Magic Are You?: HowStuffWorks
As mentioned above a book of shadows is personal while a grimoire is often open for others to see. Quite a few people ask me where they can buy a book of shadows meaning like a complete book of shadows.
I personally would never buy a book Of Shadows once belonging to another person as it has their ideas thoughts and so on in it. It is much better to actually make your own which is not as difficult as a beginner might think. Once again remember here that a book of shadows is different than a grimoire, Book of shadows for personal use a grimoire for many to use and see.
OK lets have a look at this situation a little closer: a friend writes a spell in their book of shadows and after a time lets you borrow it to look through quite innocently.
It would be very unwise to use any of the material from your friends book as it has your friends power, thoughts and magick in it.
The spell they wrote was constructed by them and them alone using their sacred space, candles, incense and so on, so how can that or any spell from another person book work the same for you? Which brings me to the question should I leave my book or books of shadows to my loved ones when I eventually go to the Summerland.
My answer to this question is NO. The reason for this is simple and as explained above, what could be written and practised by one is not necessarily going to work or be good for another. Yes by all means gather a few tips if you feel the need from other books of shadows but this is a matter of choice and not one for me.What is that one thing you do that makes you stand out?

Here we provide the beginner with grimoire and Book of Shadows basics and teach you how to start your own grimoire! Technically speaking, a grimoire and a Book of Shadows are two different things. Yet in modern times, people tend to use these words interchangeably. The difference between the two comes down to a few things:.
I record my dreams, spiritual and emotional experiences, recipes, study notes and much more! You might be wondering, do I have to record everything in an ancient cryptic alphabet? The answer is NO. Of course not! Unless you feel particularly drawn to do so. For me? A plain composition book or spiral notebook works just as well as a fancy leather one. And if you choose a notebook or composition book, simple post-it tabs help to organize and section off your grimoire.
Diaries, journals, and even recipe books function well as grimoires too. Binders with loose-leaf paper and sheet protectors are great for organizational purposes. Truly any subject matter you want to add to your grimoire is perfectly fine.
So you have a notebook and some ideas of what to write in your grimoire, but how do you dedicate it solely to your spiritual use? Cleansing and charging your grimoire is a good idea, similar to how you cleanse and charge your altar and tools. My favorite way to cleanse a grimoire is with smoke.
Run the grimoire over and through the smoke front and back, visualizing negative energy leaving the pages. May my heart and soul be poured onto its pages for the highest good. So be it. In addition to cleansing and charging your grimoire, some folks inscribe protective symbols or words on the inside. This serves as a means to keep snooping people out of your magical business and may even help it to be returned if lost or misplaced.
Choose symbols that mean protection and are sacred to you. The funnest part of creating a grimoire is decorating or embellishing it, IMO. You can find magical stickers online and at craft stores to include in your grimoire. It just takes time to find the right ones. In addition, check out the scrapbooking section of your local craft store for cool papers you can use, borders, stencils, and stamps. There was a really nice ask from a beginner witch about how to start a grimoire.
Buckle up witches and pagans because this will be a looong post. First of all decice if you want a digital or a physical grimoire. You could also just copy and paste from various websites if you feel like it. Still you should be careful, because the information could be easily lost e. Personally I prefer to have an actual book, because you can draw in it, personalize it in any way you like a scrapbook, a messy notebook, a big leatherbound journal, several small journals bound together etc.
If you think that you will ruin a beautiful big book just put it aside for the moment and write in a small notebook. Then carefully plan out the layout of the page and transfer the information to your main grimoire.
Over the time the grimoire becomes a part of yourself and it could be very painful if it gets lost or destroyed while you are still alive. I mean you put tons and tons of time, hard work and very personal information in it. It would be like a part of your soul or brain being ripped out at least for me. That is also the reason why many witches take it with them to the grave or burn it.
Of course nowadays a lot of witches just give their grimoires to their children or people they consider worthy of their knowledge.
Write down your wishes and fears and get to know yourself a little better. The wiccans have the wiccan rede for example. After that just write one or two of your favorite spells.
Maybe write down some basics; How to cast a circle, sabbath information, the purpose of salt, the elements, some herb information.
The grimoire will fill up automatically if you record your progress as a witch daily or whenever you feel like it.
